      Thank you all again for your help.I've made all contacts and no luck yet as far as a correct numbered carb. I do have the correct base plate 3567, so maybe the top half might be a bit easier. One last question. I am hearing that the old stabil is no good for the Ethanol gas here.I was told that the marine Stabil is ok. Any help on this one? Jeff

        Jeff,

        Your search will be a long hunt. Here are a few things you can do:
        • there are all kinds of small shops around that have parts stock piles, check with all small shops you can find and leave your name and number if they find something in the future; for example:
          • Max's vette stuff in Mesa, AZ
          • Howard's Corvettes in Mesa, AZ
        • On ebay, they have an email alert function, set that up with the part number to your email
        • Same for google's alert function

          P.S.: I have a '69 with the engine block heater option and it took me a year to find the correct block heater part to install...Don
