BALLARD and BRAUN are the "REAL DEAL". John coined that term.

I don't know Bill Baker, but I am sure he has the knowledge and expierence.

I KNOW that "change" will be forthcoming in the Board. And all positive as all three are very talented guys who love the car......and hate the politics, so we the members will all be HAPPY !

Congratulations indeed to all three. Good Guys who are interested in furthering the mission of NCRS. If they choose not to post, it doesen't bother me at all. I want them to take care of NCRS business.

Congrats to the new board members and thanks to the ones retiring that have given their time to represent us on the board.

Change is good when applied in the right places.

These people will represent the members and leave political situations at the door.

Looking forward to the next round of change myself! We need varied opinions because that what a club is composed of.

Ther's a lot of people in NCRS who don't post to the discussion board but you will find the at every meet judging, teaching and sharing their knowledge. They run the meets, teach the schools, welcome new members and make sure they feel a part of the organization.Those are the ones you meet face to face. They may not spend hours on the computer answering a myiad of questions but they're the ones that make it work........

An over-looked thing with why some people don't post....maybe they can't type...or type well enough to feel comfortable participating on the TDB...especially the "old" guys. I once taught typing in high school 40 years ago during my short stint as a public school teacher. It was an elective in those days that guys did not like much. And, man, did I see a lot of men "sweat" in typing class in college in the 60's!

And you probably saw men pay to have papers typed, Gary. When I was in college, there were always notices on bulletin boards (the kind on a wall) listing rates to type papers. I know many women who earned extra money that way.

Our state now makes keyboarding (new term for typing) a requirement. How else do all these people text so fast?

My 30-somethign daughter got a certificate for "keyboarding" in the third grade -- 1988. We have it prominently displayed in the office area. They didn't teach her to text though. She learned that on her own.

Shows you don't have to Post on the DB to be elected and that's fine with me because I know them all (maybe that's the key, i.e. to know me ) and they are all GR8 car & Corvette guys and I know they will serve all of us well on the Board. Also, those of us that Post on the DB should note the converse, if it's true, that we will not be elected because we spend too much time on the DB. Pete

Excellent comment by Joe Ray.
My heartfelt thanks also, to those who so generously served and provided their time to the club.
In the past two years I have had the pleasure to discuss club issues with fellow members from coast to coast. A frequent topic has been more minor, but recurring conflicts. Issues that never seen to be resolved.
I look forward very much to the next round of change.
