    1967 Hazzard Light Issue

I have been working on my lights on my 67. I have had an issue where I did not have flashers or break lights but Did have turn signal, running and regular light function. I changed out the turn signal switch with a new Shee Marr switch. I still don't have brakes lights (I have a bad switch and can jump the switch to get break lights) and my hazzard lights when I put them on go faster than I think they should and all four lights are very dim. What am I doing wrong? I also noticed the light that should flash when the light doors are closed is not lighting what is the main cause or that light to not function? Pulling brake light switch now. Hazzards driving me crazy. This car is an original car that has not been apart.

Need your help.... don't le me down now

Re: 1967 Hazard Light Issue- Update

Ok think before you post. I looked again at why there would be low volts to the flashers.... look at the fuse box. I had the wrong flasher (a 323) instead of a 552! quick drive to autozone $3.99 later and bam hazards working perfect. Next took out the break switch and benched tested it only to find it worked fine. Cleaned the ends put it back in and presto brake lights!!!!! Now I guess the remaining issue would be a bulb. wish me luck.

Good job keith, I had a problem like that with my 67 and it turned out to be the fuse box clip where the fuse snaps in was corroded.

That 257 flashing bulb has 12V at the bulb plug and when the buckets open the limit switches ground causing the bulb to blink until buckets are full open then it's ground breaks and the bulb goes out.

If you find the wire that goes to the front and ground it the bulb should blink so you know the problem is up front..
