    U-Shape inboard seatbelt anchor finish

I am working on the underside of my 1970 Corvette and would like to know the original finish of the U-shape metal piece in the drive-shaft tunnel used to anchor the inboard seatbelt. The current finish looks like silver paint. Thank you.

    Zinc plating - not paint.
No one make a repro of this because of the huge tooling costs and used ones are pricey if you can find it.
