I don't have access to it right now. but if was cast in april 59 would it go in a car assembled in april

That's pretty tight but I do believe that it is possible. There are stories of the machining being done on blocks that were still warm.

Safe is 2 weeks prior to car assembly. I have engines assembled the same day as the cast date however.

So car assble, March 19, engine assemble, March 5, cast date genearlly one week, or Feb 27. But can be closer to assembly date.

Remotely possible, but unlikely. What's the block casting date, the pad stamp on the block, and the VIN of the car?

Cast date april 13, assembly date april 14 I was wrong on the build date of the car according to the birthday calc. on the C1 registry it was built on april 20.
