Passenger car powerglide to 54

I was recently told there was an article in the Restorer maybe 30 years ago on how to install a 55 passenger car powerglide into a 54 corvette. Does any one know if this article exist. I would like to remove my current 3 speed and install a powerglide back in. Thanks, Mike

I'm doing the same with my '56 right now (3-spd back to PG). Maybe I can learn something too...

Michael, no article is listed in the '53 Restorer article index. Nor is there an article listed on the 56-7 Restorer CD-ROM. Gary....
