Corvette guys/gals in Madison WI area?

Looking for information on a 66 BB coupe, Sunfire Yellow/black interior. Original owner was a farmer 20 miles NW of Madison. Car was purchased by person in IL in 1988. Anyone know of this elusive farmer or location please contact me. Have been able to find all 3 previous owners by not the 1st one. Need vehicle history and any paperwork available.

Hi Tom. I live in Madison and have for 37 years. Do not know of the car you're talking about right off but I do know quite a few Corvette people here in Madison. Specifically, do you know which town it is 20 miles NW of Madison?

Also, city could be Baraboo or Portage. This information came from Billy Gould when he conducted a vehicle search earlier this year.

Okay....I'll poke around a little and ask a few people I know. Another thought too, is for you to make a call to two places in each community asking for any leads. The police department, and the chamber of commerce. Who knows, maybe someone in the PD gave that farmer a ticket way back when. When you're on the line with these people, if they have no knowledge of the car or owner, ask them for the names of any car clubs, or car enthusiasts in the area you could contact.

For example:
Portage chamber of commerce: 608-745-4457
Portage police department: 608-742-2174

I just googled these and got the numbers in about 30 seconds. You can do the same for Baraboo or any of the other communities in the region.
