    Original 69' spare, help with date code

    This tire is a goodyear wide tread 2 ply nylon cord. It is mounted on a jan 69' AZ wheel. Can anyone decifer the date code for me? If in fact this is the date code.

    I can make out the last five numbers, but not the first two. Can you help those of us with poor eyesight?

      I think it's NT01512. I recall reading recently that only one manufacturer's coding system had been 'cracked'.

        T=January
        0=Goodyear
        1=Akron
        5=F70X15
        12=tire type code
