C1 Wonderbar Radio Clutch Adjustment

My wonderbar radio appears to have the treadle bar clutch incorrectly adjusted. What are the steps needed to adjust it properly and get the bar to work properly to seek stations, now it appears bound up.

I've had similar problems in the past caused by dirty contacts on the WB switch of my 59, but here's something that may help. It's the service manual for the earlier 58+ 987730-chevy/3748611-corvette radio but the mechanicals should be similar to the later 985003 & 985383 61/62 Corvette radios.
