    68 Single Fuel Line Clip

Quick question on fuel line clip for 68 427 / 400hp- having trouble identifying the type of clip to use, I belive it says "spring style" clip for the single fuel line (no return line). Is that the same type as the spring clip used on the rear cross over brake line? I looked at some older posts but not clear. AIM shows dif part number but pic is not too clear.

Thanks for any help on this

      Hi John,

-Passenger side, the 3 holes shown in 1st pic.

-I have black fasteners for brake line shown in second pic

-The green clip is what I think is the "Spring Clip" that is called for.

      Thanks again for your help.

The clips on the 69 that I took off of the brake and the gas lines looked like the picture in the middle except they were badly rusted. My car differs in that it is a SB with a return line to the tank. I believe the BB did not have a return but the clips were the same.

          Pat,

Joe is right on the money All sinle fuel line clamps are like the middle picture. Except for the rear most clamp by the tank that is a flat stamping with a raised center flat.

While we are at it I figured I'd show the difference between a repro BRAKE LINE rear cross over line clip and an original. If you look at the 3rd picture Pat posted of the green clip you can see the sides are straight cut and if you look at the clips in the picture I have posted the clips the sides have a step in them They also have an anchor stamping on the top where the line snaps in place. I don't know if the repros have the anchor but they definitly don't have the steps on the side. These clips were used from 63-67.
