C4 Security Shade Removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the security shade on my '86. It looks like it must be fairly simple but I see no screws securing the end brackets and pushing the roll from side to side does not appear to release it in any way. The removal is one of the steps shown in the factory manual to ultimately remove the power antenna which is my actual project. The manual simply states "remove the luggage shade". I could not find any other instructions in the manual. Some searches thru the archives also did not uncover any answers.

Dave I am not at home to review my 85's service manual, however in 1996 when I removed my 85's antenna to repaint my car, I do not remember removing the shade. I do remember removing the plastic surround panels around the perimeter from the latch of the rear window over to the antenna side. The electical wiring connections disconnect at the left side of the rear latch. The rubber weather proofing around the antenna wiring was not the easiest part of the job where it goes into cars body to remove and replace.

Dave, I believe that its spring loaded on one end, push to the driver or pass. side.
