GM Tech Center Key FOB from opening day.

Today, My father stepped into my office with a big smile on his face. While digging through some of his stuff he came across something he thought he lost many moons ago. My dad was at GMI from 54 to 57. As a 2nd year student he and his other classmates were invited up to Warren to attend the Dedication of the Tech center. While there they handed out a key chain to all the lucky students. He has been looking for it for years, and today he found it and I thought I would share it:

Eric, that is really a very special piece. What is it made of and what color is it?

        Thanks for sharing!

It's made of aluminum and is in its natural finish. Found this picture on gmnext :

I have a friend who went there and later owned a Chevy dealership. I bought a new Vette from him and so did my Dad a year later. I was a member of the Guild when in school and thought of going to GMI but got sidetracked. I still have the Guild mailings somewhere and the design entry form.
