Mid Year hardtop latches, same as soft top?

Are they the same? If not what are the different part numbers?

    Thanks.

Yes, the same latches were used for both Hardtops and Soft tops.

perhaps you are confusing the c-1 hardtops/soft tops. in that instance, the latches are different. mike

Just so I am clear, the 1963-1967 hardtops do use the same latches as the soft tops, correct?

That's good for me, I bought a new set of latches for my '67 to complete the restoration. I still have the old ones in fair condition, so I'll polish them up and put them on my new acquired hardtop. The original latches on the hardtop are shot. PT

GM #3825177, LH, and 3825178, RH. Same for all 63-67 for either soft top or hard top. Both are GM-discontinued.

On issues like this, cracking open your copy of the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) will often resolve things for you. You should be able to find the factory original PN's for the latches in the main section where the soft top is called out for assy. Then, flip to the option section for the hard top and see what PN's are defined...
