1967 Coupe Fabric above carpet at back wall?

Hello everyone,

I have a '67 coupe with tuxedo interior and someone is saying that there should be some fabric behind the rear window, above the carpet on the back wall of the interior...

I've searched through the forum and can't find anything about this subject. I also looked in the judging book and can't find anything.

Does anyone have a definite answer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You did not find a reference to the rear compartment bulkhead vinyl in the '67 JG because it was not there.
Present in varying forms from '63-'66 in standard gas tank coupes, then, discontinued for '67 production.

Carl -

On a '67, that area is painted interior color; the piece of glued-on vinyl trim in that area went away at the end of the '66 model year.
