From a previous post:
The same part number, 9420554, is shown in the 63 AIM for rocker mldgs and also in the 66 AIM for rocker mldgs for both standard exhaust and side exhaust.

Unfortunately, I can't find any info on the 9420554 screw in the parts books. If it was listed, it probably would have shown the dimensions and plating.

Would you believe this is the same screw used on the 70Z28 retainer
plate on the shifter boot which I am looking for now. Any ideas Joe on
a part number that superseeded this number?

GM #9420554 was a screw once available in SERVICE. It was discontinued in April, 1983 and I have no other information on it. However, it was replaced at that time by GM #9414756, and I do have information on that screw. It was an oval, countersunk phillips head tapping screw of size 8-18 X 1" . It had a #6 head and was chrome plated. Unfortunately, it was discontinued without superession in September, 1985.
