does any one know how the letering and numbers were laid out on th 1959 shocks. did they have the word PLIACELL on them

i pulled mine this weekend and they did not have that, however they did appear like you have listed. Mine were dated from a date code of 1960. I was unsure myself till i seen the date code at the bottom. Maybe i am reading them wrong aswell. this site is great, if we are wrong it will be stated! -
