    69 C3 Rear View Mirror Differences?

    I have parted out 2 1969s with what I am assuming were the original rear view mirrors. Both were identical EXCEPT for the rivets. One has rounded rivets, and the other Flat. Both corvettes were very early build dates, before NOV 68. I am restoring (putting new glass into one of them) and want to know if one or both are correct for a 69. Restoring for my early build 69 BB and want to be correct. Pretty sure the rivets are original to both. Any thoughts?

      Just checked the rivets on the bottom of the mirror on my Sept 68' convertible and the rivets are not flat, just slightly rounded. I can send
      a pic if you like.

          Neil, my 69 was built in December 68 and has flat rivets.
