    Early 64 power brakes

    Anybody have a good picture of an original (back of the carb.) vacuum fitting for an early 64. Ser # 8000 Car is 300 HP with Auto.

      Don't give up Don, someone has the information you are requesting. Enjoy your 64, a good year for Corvettes. I can say this because I once owned one (40867S104701) and was very happy to find the current owner last month and he sent me pictures but no offer to sell. He has owned it since 1974. It does not have power brakes.

        See section J50, sheet 3.00, item #11, View "D" in your '64 A.I.M; shows P/N 3857610 fitting with Powerglide.

            Scan from that page below. Suggest you get a '64 Assembly Manual - you're flying blind without it.

              That is the problem the manual is not correct in many things this is one of them. The early PB and PCV connections where on the back of the carb. not on the intake manifold, and the reproduced parts are wrong. I am looking for someones original survivor car for a picture. Thanks
