1957 C1 Power windows

I have seen some brackets to convert crank window regulators to Power .Any body ever done this .Any idea were to look for some power regutaltors. Was the power window and power top option one option or could they be ordered seperatly.

Corvette Central has a conversion kit. Pt. number 281097. ON an earlier post, this kit was discussed. One of the criticisms was that the switches did not look like originals.
I just received a new catalog from Specialty power Windows. They have a new kit 5762-2CV for 57-62 Corvette. I don't know how close their switches are to original. Tech Line: 478-994-9248 1:30PM-4:30 PM EST www.specialtypowerwindows.

55 to 57 nomad and Pontiac nomad are the same as Corvette// ordered seperatly

Hello Roy;
Do you know if the switches and the regulators are the same?
Or just the switches, because it's the only other 2 door only switch?

Thanks most all those regulators are the same . I used A 2dr sedan p/w regulator in A 55 Passenger car convertable .Mounted right one but the window did not go all the way up so I cut the arm and welded back at a differant angle so the window would go all the way up .On the 55-57 converables all the rear p/w regulators will inter change .I used 58 Cadillac's in the last one I built.Thanks
