I am looking to replace the ignition switch on my 65 coupe, the aim list it as part # 111660, I have found one that is part # 1464, 111661 and the seller claims it fits 1965 corvette. Is this the same one or different?
Thanks
Sheldon

Different. The 1116660 Corvette '65 ignition switch is D-1463. If the seller quotes only 6 digits 111661, the typo permits possibilities (1116611 is series 10 truck; 1116610 is '61-63 passenger).
As Larry says, they come up on eBay now and then (much less than a few years ago).
The 660 should look like this, with the last 3 digits cast on the edge.

...my mistake on typing, it is a 1116661 or 1464. What do youy make of that number? ..
Sheldon --- not in any of my Chevrolet parts books; could be Chevelle, Corvair, Chevy II, or some other GM division than Chevrolet, in the '65-66 time period. Maybe Joe Lucia has the resources to identify. Does the seller show pictures ? Look anything like what I showed ?
