Re: 2007 ZO6 brake rotor part #s??
GM does not make money on the cars they sell so they make up the difference on the parts. the list price is high but if you get a discount it is not to bad. they list for over $100 i believe and i have bought rotors for regular cars for $15 at the auto partsLast edited by Clem Z.; December 1, 2009, 07:57 AM.- Top

Peter
I have a 2007 Z06 also. What mileage do you have that requires new rotors? What mileage did you get from the pads?. I have 12K on mine now.

just remember there are no warning "squeakers" on C-6 ZO-6 brake pads so you have to check them for wear by looking at them.- Top

Re: 2007 ZO6 brake rotor part #s??
Will those numbers fit a 2008 Z06? I might as well stock up at those prices. I really wish they would have made the rotors directional, though. A high-performance car without directional rotors s(*8s the big one.
Cost of rotors varies greatly. Yes, like Clem, I have paid $15 for my driver cars, but I just paid $60 at NAPA (with discount) for front rotors for the Caprice. Last time I checked they were almost $100 my price at Chevrolet. The Chinese rear rotors at $15 lasted just two years, and I had to change them due to rust on the contact faces. If I remember right I paid $40 each at NAPA. All those prices were the same car(s) but there is a great difference in quality and front to rear on those old-school RWD cars.Terry- Top

Thanks Joe. I'll have to help keep GM in business longer. I have noticed I now get a big thank you from the Parts Manager where I get my Chevrolet parts. He and his staff were always friendly and helpful, but now it seems they go out of their way to express their appreciation for my business even though the quantity of my purchases are often minimal.Terry- Top
