    Battery for a C2

Since the batteries are so hard to get too, I was thinking of getting a maintenance free battery that looks like a tar battery. Two questions. (1)Where can I get one? (2) Will they past NCRS? Thanks for help.

Harvie you might want to try Restoration Battery, (513) 574-4481 or www.restorationbattery.com. You can talk to them about their products. I don't know if they have a battery that's both Maintenance Free and a Tar Top. Good luck in your search.

        Michael and Rick,
Thank you for the information. I went to their web site and the batteries look authentic. Will this battery past NCRS?

you will receive a deduct as not a TRUE tar-top, but you have a modern and dependable battery that will last for a relatively long time

Harvie, I put the gel battery in after restoring my battery tray 3 times with acid burns etc. The new one has been in there 2 years, no mess or corrosion to deal with. RB has been a reliable company with me. Lost 7 pts for repro battery but worth the time saved by constantly refinishing that battery area!

I agree with Dan. Take the deduct over the high cost of a repo battery.

But it all comes down to points over $$$$.
