    1963 Power Glide

    I am about to drain and replace the automatic transmission fluid in my 63 does anyone know how many quarts I will need to purchase for this?

      Bob, Look in the 63 owners manual. Page 46 says 9 qts for powerglide. JD

          I believe that 9 quarts is for the torque converter and the transmission. I am only draining the transmission.
