My foam seals around the a/c and heat duct work are gone, my question is I was thinking of going to home depot and buying some of the PSA weather striping thats made of foam maybe about 1/2 wide and trying to see if this will work, has anyone tryed this before? I know that there a few venders that sell replacements, it just seems alittle steep its about 45-50 dollars for the kit, im not planing on removing any interior or exterior boxes, im just trying to increase the air flow through the ducts.

Ed,
I did this with Dad's 72. Your idea works well.

Ed, If you take any pictures I will find it interesting. I am having some air flow problems of my own. I put up a post this past week and got some ideas and any help from others is always appreciated. Good luck!!- Top

Re: A/c Duct Work 72 Coupe Question
I originally used the pre-cut, foam seal set from the catalog house and found it'd been sitting for SO LONG in stock that PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) was virtually useless. So, like Pat, I went to the hardware store and bought a role of off-the-shelf foam and used it. No problemas!- Top
