I can't get on either. I wonder who has the expertise to do this ? Who would benefit from the site being down ? Would the motive be money or retaliation for something? Just a couple questions that have been going through my mind.
The CF is owned by Internet Brands, a for-profit corporation that manages all sorts of enthusiast sites- many not relating to cars at all. These are all down as is their own home website.
The company might be seen as a prime target for hackers, possibly being the big boys on the block.
Isn't that like paying to watch commercial network TV?
Not when you are a dealer and post inventory. They also post links to my site with banner ads. The Corvette Forum has been a fantastic tool for our dealership. Plus, the site wouldn't exist without supporting vendors.

I had no more issues than normal and was on for over an hour this morning catching up with everything since Thursday. Maybe I shouldn't post this -- my boss might see it.
On the other hand we are right on the fiber optic grid, so things are usually lightening fast here. That makes the DSL at home look like slow motion.
I would assUme that a lot of people are on trying to catch up.
