I am revisiting the question of what fluids are recommended for C1 cars. The only post in the archives regarding this issue was offered in 2003.
What oil, antifreeze, brake fluid do you prefer and why?
Thanks in advance for your comments

For vintage Corvettes I recommend Zerex G-05 antifreeze mixed 50/50 with distilled water. The archives are full of all the whys and wherefores along with explanations of antifreeze corrosion inhibitor chemistries - IAT, OAT, and HOAT.
Use DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid for normal servicing, and do a system flush every 2-5 years depending on climate, driving and storage conditions. Don't use DOT 5 unless you start with a completely clean and dry system including the master and wheel cylinders/calipers.
There have been extensive discussions on all of these subjects going back to the beginning of the TDB, circa 1999, and no stone has been left unturned.
