What part do these numbers refer to?

I was reviewing the inspection report for part numbers and codes on my '66 L79 coupe and can make all of them out except this one. It says "AIT" (an abbreviation I guess?), and the part numbers are: 1100693 37A SK13. Does anyone have any idea what part this is? The inspector is long gone and can't help me. Thanks for any ideas.

      Michael

I would say the AIT is "ALT" for alternator, 37 amp. My 64 has part no. 1100668 so is simmilar. The rest is the date (yr-mo-day). Are you sure that's an "S"? probably a "6". K= Oct. (I think no "I" was used).

Of course! The Alternator! The "S' is actually a "5" now that I look closely. Great, thanks for the help, that date would fit fine with my Dec. 5, 1965 build date for the car.
