    63 headlight problem

    Need help once more.

When I turn my headlights on low beam, one lamp on the drivers side works perfect but on the passenger side both lamps glow lightly.

When I hit the high beam, the drivers side turns off completely and both lights on the passenger side turn on full strength.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well you almost certainly have a bad ground and maybe a bad bulb or two.

I agree, bad ground. Check the ground lug bolted on the left side of the radiator support, along with your harness connectors going into the headlight bucket to the bulbs. My bet is the ground lug at the rad.

I've seen this before and agree it's a bad ground or connection. A wire may have pulled from the connector plug as others have said.
