              Where is this '56 SR-1 now? Do you know what number it was at the 1956 12 Hours of Sebring?

                  In Bill's defense, it's not one that "got away", but one he identified as something special - to his credit, he didn't "modify" to conform to the Judging Manual, and another treasure lived to be further identified as 1 of 6 ( 4 remain to be found).

                      Never at Sebring, its 1 of 6 SRs done after Sebring for sale to public with otions developed through experience from those cars raced there.
