    L88's at New England Regional pics

    Kevin Mackay of Corvette Repair arranged a display of L88 race cars at the New England Regional in Marlborough, MA.

    Al Grenning gave a slide show presentation of internal Chevrolet documents detailing L88 and M22 production ...

    Kevin spoke about his Penske car and the Band Aid racer ...

    Bill Skinner shared the stories of his 2 cars as well ...


    Phil Castaldo displayed his car and told the story of how the original owner was ejected out the rear window ...

    This L88 coupe wore the plate "REALDEEL" ...

    The fun part for me was that my '73 LS4 (a/k/a "half an L88") got to ride in the truck to and from the event with these great cars.
    1973 LS4 coupe. Dark Blue / Black. Turbo Hydra-Matic, PW, PB, PS, Rear Defog, Tilt/Tele, AC, Map Lamp, AM/FM.

                  Actually that was the only one of the group that was never raced.
