I've Got A Complete 69 L88 Engine( Carb To Pan) That I Have Had Since 1975. It Was Bought At Baldwin Motion In 1969 As A Complete Motor. It Has About 5000 "street Miles" On It.it's Still In A Car And You Could Hear It Run. What Do You Think A Realistic Price Is For It ? I Am Thinking Of Selling It And Am Not Sure What To Ask. Thanks For Any Advice !

Re: L88 Engine ,what's It Worth ?
Very interesting machine code. Very early open chamber engine. I am thinking that March is the earliest car I have seen.
Those engines were available across the counter. If my memory serves me correctly, a complete engine plus the carburetor cost about $1,300 in 1969. We bought 3 of those engines over 12 months. One went into a '68 Camaro SS RS original factory L-89 (still resides in the 13,000 mile car), one went into a '67 Corvette originally L-71 (still sitting in the car with the '67 tripower setup on it), and I do cannot remember where the third one went.Dick Whittington- Top
