looking to purchase a set of torque thrust wheels and some BFG radial TA's for a 67. I see they make a 215/65x15 and a 215/70x15. I know the 70's will be a tight fit. Any experience with either of these tire sizes or any other raised white letter radial options out there? Thanks, Tom

Re: Radial TA's for a 67
Tom, I have 215/65x15 Falken tires on 15x6 Torque Thrust D wheels for my 67. No issues at all, very good looking combo also. The tires are black walls. I use these for around town and save the Rally/whitewall 7.75 for events. I think the 70 series tire may rub in the front for being a little to tall. Car goes down the road good at 70mph fine with the radials as I had the car set up with '77-'78 alignment specs.....PD...............- Top

Re: Radial TA's for a 67
Tom,
My 65 roadster came with radial T/A's when I bought it. I took them off for whitewall tires. They fit pretty well as I remember. Let me check the size and I'll let you know. They are in great condition, hardly any use.

Re: Radial TA's for a 67
Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate the help. Paul, recently sold the 72 LT1, replaced it with a 67 driver. I was sorry to see the 72 go but it went to a good home, Best regards. Bill, let me know about those tires. Thanks, Tom- Top
