1966 C2 1966 300 HP 327 rear vent to air clean'r tube

On a base engine 1966 300 HP 327 rear vent tube sold by Paragon. The black tube that replaces "road draft" and connects by hose to air cleaner.

Anyone else have trouble with the fit to the 300HP intake manifold? Thanks!

Perhaps they sold you the L79 vent tube -- it has somewhat different bends and is slightly longer in order to accomodate the high-rise aluminum manifold. This is my '66 300HP with OEM vent tube pictured below. I also have an L79 vent tube around here someplace if you'd like it photographed.

Thanks Jeff - Great reply. Don't worry about the other photo. I am lucky to be relatively close to Paragon. I can go over and make the comparison there.

L79 number in their catalog is 1057, page 5 of the 2009 ed.
Kit for "all with 327, except FI" is 1055K, same page.

If the kit includes the 1057 part, then I got the 1057.

I also see number 1054 on same page, but that is listed for 64-65. Anyone know if the 300 HP repro. looks like that one?
