    '69 UA6 Chalk Mark Photo

Pulled off my white plastic toe board shields off my late '69 to clean them up (FYI; TIM&JG is wrong on this point, late cars had the white ones) and discovered this chalk mark. Just thought I would pass it along for interest sake.

Here is a picture of a marking behind the white plastic toe board on the passenger side of my '69, serial number 21077, built in early April. I believe the 177 refers to the serial number. I have UA6, but have not found any such marking as yours.

I have a very late (18th before production end) 69. Also had original brittle white shields. So brittle that one shattered when I dropped it. It was definately original. This written underneath passenger side. I assume a build sequence number as it dosen't correlate with VIN.

Definately white shields on some late 69's.
