Hose from overflow tank to radiator - POSITION - '63

Can someone tell me where the coolant hose from the overflow tank to the radiator should be positioned on my 1963 (near front of engine compartment)?

Should it be on the right (outside) or left (enigine side) of the hood arm ?

JG shows cars up to approx VIN 13500 have hose mounted inboard of the hood support.
