The McLelland Award is a prerequsite in order to receive the Crossed Flags Award. As a result, any 1984-92 car that earns the Crossed Flags Award already has the McLelland Award.

That is correct.
However, my statement is not incorrect as written.

This is fun, Joe. Here's a clue, (although technically the Red one wasn't yet a Crossed Flags Recipient) chasing each other down CA Hwy 58 on the way to San Jose.

Well here they are. The two NCRS Crossed Flags 1985s side by side. A lot of fun involved in having these two cars in the same picture, loaded up for a road-trip. Note the license plates. Thanks, Joe.
