Hey, Jack, wake up, that's called a JOKE.
Often notable by the big green smiley face at the end of the sentence.

We had the same warranty issue early-on with the Viper seats, which have much more pronounced bolsters; had Johnson Controls (seat supplier) upgrade the leather material on the bolsters to the same premium leather used on the center sections, and the problem went away.

I wish GM would use leather similar to what they install in the Cadillacs and trucks. My Dad's former Cadillac had 120 000 miles and the seats looked great. My 2003 truck - which I don't baby - has 96000 and those seats too look much better than any Corvette with the same mileage.

I'd give up the "softer" feeling in a second to have them last past 40 000 miles.
