    2009 Zr-1

I was in a Chevrolet dealer yesterday (Koons in Tyson Corner - DC metro area) and they had two 2009 ZR1's for sale that just came in. They said they were their 12th and 13th ZR1's. Did many dealers get this many ? I thought most got just 1 or 2.

They were asking $30K over MSRP. Are people still paying these mark-ups ?

When will we see the 2010's ? Any changes planned ?

Unless there has been a drastic change, $10k was the norm and we picked up one for $5k over, delivered to us on a roll back 200+ miles

      Re: 2009 Zr-1

On Corvetteforum.com I saw someone take delivery of a new 2010 Arctic White ZR1. So the fact that they're asking $30K over on "last year's model" is a little nuts.

Not too many changes for the 2010 ZR1. Launch control and performance traction have been added. You can get it in any of the eight exterior colors and the cashmere interior is also available. Competition gray wheels have been added also. The film on the I/P centerstack trimplate (basse and uplevel trim levels) has been changed too.

Launch control "optimizes" for track "full throttle" starts. In the compettive mode, it "holds" a pre-determined engine speed while the driver pushes the accelerator pedal to the floor - - - allowing the driver to quickly release the clutch and optimize the "available" traction. The system is supposed to be capable of approaching a skilled driver's best effort consistently.
