    1967 Holley Carb

I have a Holley 4 barrel removed several years ago from my 1967 427-390. The air horn is marked as follows:
    3906633-EO
    LIST - 3811
    0454

The part number and Holley list are correct for the engine but I can't decipher the "-EO" following the part number or the date. The 1967 judging manual indicates that the date will be a three character numeric or alphabetic stamping.

Can anyone help me with these pieces of data? Thanks.

    Hi Jim
The 4 digits are a service replacement Julian date format rather than the coded Numeric Year, Alpha Month, Numeric Shift code listed in the JG.
The date on your carb would be: the 45th day of '74, '84, '94.....
    See you in Marlborough.

      Mike
Thanks. Simple but logical. I removed it originally because I knew the date was wrong. Any idea what the "EO" after the part number designates?
See you in Marlborough with my '66.

i have seen a 3810 with a 3906631-DA so i would guess EO is a Holley code for what changes have been incorporated into the carb since the original design
