C1 Rear Stabilizer Bar Bracket Finish

I purchased a new rear stabilizer bar and bracket parts from Paragon. I see in the archives that the bar should be painted black, but couldn't confirm the finish on the mounting brackets. I didn't see any finish information in the JM.

The rear stabilizer bar U-brackets I received were painted black, but the inner stabilizer bar U-brackets appear to be gray in color, possibly gray phosphate.

Is this correct? If not, how should these brackets be finished?

I have attached a photo of the two brackets that are in question. Can anyone tell me if they should both be painted semi gloss black like the stabilizer bar?
