    C-1 Electric

I replaced all the wiring on my '61 with new wiring harnesses and thought everything was working correctly. After having the battery discharge completely in only a week, I discovered that the dash lights stay on all the time whether the lights are switched on or not. Anybody had this problem before or know where to start in fixing it?
    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I had a problem with my brake lights staying on after the car was turned off this spring. I went through a new battery within no time. It was an electrical/wiring problem. I'll try to get more specifics on it for you tomorow. Best of luck.

Sure sounds like a headlight switch. If you have a spare swap it out and see if it solves you problem. I had a similar problem on my 54. It turned out to be the dimmer portion of the switch.
