correct positioning of sway bar (orientation)

I didn't note its orientation when I disassembled it and took an educated guess that I'd feel better about if I verified.

The sway bar connecting loop very slightly turns upwards the way I have it installed.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks

John, sorry I can't help. I just read your posting and saw the picture. Nice job on the restoration. What type of paint did you use on the springs? Steve

John -- FWIW, just checked my two '65's; a SB and BB, and they both turn up as shown in your photo.

Thank You Wayne... "I just checked both my 65 big and small block's" definately has a nice ring to it. I'm jeoulous.

Steve, as far as the shocks, what I did was totally incorrect as I sprayed them with a Cast Iron Engine Paint. I assume a Blued Natural or black is correct, but I really like the contrasting detail with them in a Natural Cast shade.

I'll pay for that in points if I ever NCRS judge it, but too much Black drowns the details and I'm a victim of over-restoration some times.

She'll be more of a "highly detailed, local Car show circuit, cruiser" so that's the direction I took.

        Self gratification I guess.

        She's getting close now.

You should have stopped by and helped me finish wrenching.
