    68 Owners: I have a question please

I need some owners of 68s with small block to tell me what their fuel lines at the fuel pump look like, especially the larger feed line, not the small return line.
Is the line going to the pump that supplies the fuel (feed line) preformed like and "S".
I thought only the return line is "S" shaped.
What have you on your car, so I can compare to mine to determine if mine is correct or not. I just have a regular rubber fuel line a few inches long that goes from the metal fuel line on the frame to the fuel pump.
    Pictures would be perfect.
    Thanks in advance
    Kurt

    Kurt,

I'll kick you back up to the top of the list. Let me know if you want pictures of a '68 BB's line.

      Terry,
Thanks for the offer but I need pictures of a small block set up in case it differs from the big block fuel pump and lines.

I took some pictures of the very original '68 300 HP car I have owned for the last 20 years, but since it's an A/C car, they don't show what you need. Next week, I am going to replace the broken dipstick tube, so it'll be up on jackstands. I can take some pictures then if you can wait that long.

          Kurt,

I finally got around to getting the car off the ground and got some pictures. I apologize for the quality, but it's kinda crowded and dark down there. The first four pictures are from the bottom and he last two are from the top.

              Thanks Dennis
The picture of the line entering the fuel pump was especially helpful because mine appears to be pointing more into the frame whereas yours points more toward the rear of the vehicle.
I spent a long time trying to locate a brand new factory correct fuel pump and may have been sold the wrong pump .
I rerouted a new rubber feed line and now it seems to be working with no problems thus far but I have only driven it a few miles.
Thanks again for the pictures and thanks to everyone for the help with this.
I get very cranky when something goes wrong with my baby, but I am happy now.
