Tires for Judging New Repro or Used Original

For judging purposes will I do better with original non-DOT (Goodyear Power Cushion Goldwall) that has a bit of wear (say 1/4" of tread on the tire) or new reproductions?

Original tires (assuming they aren't trashed) should get all of your originality points and a minimal deduction (if any) for condition.

Repops will get some level of deduction on originality that will PROBABLY exceed the condition deduction for your original tires.

repops are STANDARD DEDUCT of 3 points originality across the board for the 4 tires on the ground - spare is judged separately
