In this thread started by John McNeely there was a comment on the position of the 69 wiper door valve and when this was switched from the right fender well to the left firewall.

The Bizzoco 69 book mentions that until SN 18744 it was still positioned at the fender well; as of SN 20981 (but possible earlier) it moved to the left. My car is SN 19211 (March 15 build date). On my car it is still at the right fender well.





This weekend I had the opportunity to have a closer look at my car. I am confident that my configuration is original to the car. No signs that it was originally at the left firewall.

I guess it's over my head, Erik... Your text addresses the wiper door valve and your pictures concentrate on the 1-year only auxilliary headlight washer pump. What am I missing?

The way I read it Erik is narrowing down the s/n range for the change of the location of wiper door relay in 1969. Nice info for the 1968-1969 TIM&JG. I didn't see a question, just information. Of course, I could be missing something as well.

Yes, trying to narrow down the exact change over -

Judging guide still says "beginning March 1969" and "about SN 18744" and to reconfirm John's comment from reference thread that "They must have moved the Window actuator relay to the driver side firewall very late in the year then."

Just thought it would be useful for future 68/69 TIM & JG revisions; nothing more, nothing less
