    1969 Vacuum line routing question.

I believe I got a little mixed up installing my vacuum lines.

The line that attaches to the manifold port runs to a diaphram, then off again to another that T's off.

Where do the (2) hoses that exit this 2nd valve route?

    (1) to the upper connection on the Air Expansion tank and the other?

    Thanks

For some reason I had the smaller lines incorrectly tied into my washer lines. (not sure how I decided to do that)

John are you talking about the check valve just after the filter off the manifold. If you are the small hose is the control side of the vacuum system and should go through the firewall to the head light switch, wiper etc. The larger hose goes to the supply tank in the area just aft of the left wheel well. The hose routing will also be different if your wiper door vacuum relay is mounted on the firewall or in the area just aft of the right wheel well. Paul 18046

      Mounted on Drivers side Firewall.

Which side of the firewall does the Wiper/headlight switch exit? Drivers?

On the drivers side firewall, there are 3 hoses that exit. (1) I have routed to the White hose traveling to the headlight relay mounted in the cars nose. (1) is routed to the other side of the firewall entering the grommet, The 3rd I have connected to the washer mechanism for the headlight washer so to connect one to the check valve would mean using a T-connector.

I have a diagram from the hose Kit, but i guess I'm stumbling on identifying the hoses exiting the firewall grommet.

John The headlamp control out goes from the switch to the override through the firewall to the other hoses along the left side of the engine compartment to the headlamp relays in between the head lights. The wiper control out from the solenoid back of the Tach to the override then goes to the wiper control relay. I don't remember were they exit exactly but someone else maybe able to help there. The in line tee's somewhere in the dash area one leg to the headlight switch the other to the Paul 18046

I think my problem was mixing my washer lines with vacuum hoses.

One more question and I may have it.

on the driver side of the Wiper motor is a mechanical pump type apperatus with one vacuume hose attached to it.

The washer hose from the drivers side wiper has a "T" attached to it.

What attaches to the driver side single connection on the washer pump?

          That may solve my issue.

          Thanks

OK, I've got it, the 69 headlight washer system is a seperate entity altogether and the hoses weren't included in the washer hose kit which added to the confusion.

            I'm good, thanks again Paul.
