All I can show is a 1970 form that was printed in July 1970 issue of Motor Trend magazine, which should answer your 3rd question.

Hopefully, someone will post a real Corvette 1969 order form.

I appologize to all as it's almost impossible to read this -- original scanned jpeg file size was 2 megabytes, which I reduced to 179 kilobytes so as to respect 293 KB limit on this site; then it uploads as a 73 KB file, which is unreadable, IMO. This is why we use Photobucket or some other hosting site, when detail matters.

Steve -- you have to get past the "everything is on the 'net" point of view. It just ain't so -- yet.

I have seen a 1969 order sheet during my 25-year judging career, but I can't remember where, when or who had it. One of the car owners had the order sheet for his car, IIRC. With the relatively low percentage of NCRS members who come to this forum, you might be better served (although it will not be instant gratification) by a free member's ad in The Driveline. At least that publication eventually gets to ALL NCRS members.

OK Steve -- I'm sending it over a 56K set-up so it'll take about 25 minutes on my end . Making preparations for an ADSL connection with new ISP so this pain won't last much longer .

I am SO spoiled with all the Pontiac resources we get from GM/Pontiac; literally every single Pontiac owner can get factory invoice, order form per year, and many other things by simply calling Pontiac Historical Services. I know that they guy (Jim Mattison) that ran or may still run it was also a Corvette guy; and was desperately trying to secure some of the same for Chevrolets, but I think it's a lost cause.

Back in the pre-computer days I got the invoice for my 1937 Cadillac from Cadillac Historical Services. Imagine the heater as an option? Anyway, those folks are lucky -- us Corvette guys -- at least fo the pre 1978 folks -- are SOL.

We have been down this road -- trust me, VERY knowledgeable folks with ALL of GM's resources (in the old days) looked and looked. They just don't exist.

Upon reading that 1970 Corvette order form a little closer, I see they show the LS6 engine option (available with Turbo Hydra-matic or close ratio 4-speed). Power windows, power steering or radio were NOT available with LS6, per the form. Too bad there's no issue date on it.

While the order forms are not 100% truth; they certainly make for a very good starting point.

Below find a scan of a 1969 Corvette order form. This form was originally used for order of an early 1969 Corvette. I've "whited out" all of the hand entries on the form to create a "blank" form. I've also "whited out" the order number on the upper right side of the form which was pre-printed on all order forms and followed the car through the order placement and assembly process.

Keep in mind that the form may have changed throughout the model year. The form date (printed on the lower left side of the form but possibly unreadable here) for this form was 6-68.

Ok, per Joe's order form.

M21 only with 350, 390, 400, or 435-HP engine.

So if you take what I have presented so far; VIN correct M21 and all clues leading toward M21 only with L46, what would any of you as NCRS judges be willing to say at this point?
