    Scuffs on side exhaust covers - HELP?

    I got a set of NOS side exhaust covers for my 67. They have some light scuffs on the polished portion of the covers from storage. They are nice nice, but can I polish the scuffs out? I don't want to touch them without some advice. The scuffs aren't deep, and are otherwise are in great shape, so ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks ARA

      Ara, try some 00 or 000 steel wool in a spot that won't be seen. LIGHTLY use and see what it looks like. Bill.

          If memory serves the shiny parts are anodized so I don't think I'd use anything that could remove it.
