I realize this isn't technical but I was digging through some old paperwork today and came across this newspaper clipping. It's one of my brother's friends and he just had his 65 coupe sliced in half in a traffic accident. This took place in 1971 just outside of newark N.J.. I hope the picture comes through well enough so you can see what he's salvageing from the wreck, his collection of 8 track tapes.
The back half of the car was totally demolished but old George loved his 65 so much he searched for over a year until he found an identical car. Rich

$10 says the car has since been auctioned at Barrett-Jackson as a "no hit numbers matching" car.

I grew up not to far away from the scene, he is a very lucky man. Today if you park your vette in the same area, it will look something like that when you return plus your tapes will be missing.
