With my poor eyesight, I will give a wild ass guess of March or May, unknown day of 1966. I know that doesn't fit your build date but once again, that is my WAG.
Anyone care to (deciper) take a stab at the info stamped on the inside of my heater box. Car was built late September '65.
Attached is my damaged heater box with original part# My car is an early April 67. The part number stamp is self explanatory; i would decipher the date as Jan 6 1967.
Don't ask about the damage except that it was run over after cleaning in the driveway........
I have the same stamp on my 66 from Sept of 65. It looks like it was done by the same person. However, I also have what a believe to be a date code of 3-9 (Sept 3rd) That agrees with my car build date of sept 23. You can see the upside down 9 on the first picture before I redid/restored it on the second picture.
Steady chippin' at it Bob. Took time out for Fathers Day today. Back at it tomorrow. Hope to be spraying the body with Slick Sand in about two weeks......and should be doing engine tear down here shortly and get it to the machine shop..... YES, I'm havin' tons of fun Bob! Thanks for asking
